The Scientific Colloquium "Romans and their neighbours along the Carpathians" was held between the 28th and the 29th of November 2012, and hosted the workshop called “The Eastern border of Roman Dacia: research, preservation and integration into national and international tourist circuit”.

  The list of participants included renowned researchers in the field of study, but also young researchers, found at the beginning of their career. The overarching goal of this approach is to start a mutual exchange of know-how between different generations and schools of archaeology in Romania. The practical part of the workshop included visits to the major Roman Castra on the eastern border of Roman Dacia found in Covasna County, such as Brețcu, Boroșneul Mare and Comălău.
