Romanian-German round table at Iași

The second „Romanization Roundtable” was organised at Iași, on the 4th – 7th June 2015, by the Archaeology Institute of the Romanian Academy (Iași branch). The organisers invited a number of colleagues from the Roman-German Comission (Römisch-Germanische Kommission) from Frankfurt-am-Main, part of the German Archaeology Institute, Berlin. The National Museum of Eastern Carpathians was represented by Alexandru Popa, who was a special guest of this event.
Inviting the project's director to this scientific event speaks for itself, reflecting the fruitful cooperation with the colleagues from the Archaeology Institute of the Romanian Academy, especially with those involved in the CNCS UEFISCDI PCE 2012-4-0490 "The Other in Action. The Barbarization of Rome and the Romanisation of the World" exploratory research project.
