The project’s results were presented in Frankfurt/Main!


Grenzerfahrung und Erfahrungsgrenzen. Zur Archäologie und Geschichte von Interaktion in der europäischen Frühgeschichte, Frankfurt am Main, 12. – 16.09.2016 The project director, dr. habil. Alexandru Popa, participated, between the 12th and 16th September 2016, in the round table called “Grenzerfahrung und Erfahrungsgrenzen. Zur Archäologie und Geschichte von Interaktion in der europäischen Frühgeschichte” held in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). This event was organized by the Roman-Germanic Commission of the German Archaeological Institute and it focused on the history and archaeology of the borders in Protohistoric Europe.





Within his presentation called “Einige Anmerkungen zur römischen auswärtigen Politik jenseits des dako-moesischen Limes” dr. habil. Alexandru Popa talked about the policy of the Roman Empire regarding the Limes area in Dacia and Moesia Inferior Provinces. He also presented a review of the project’s most important results since 2011. His participation at this round table held in Frankfurt am Main gave dr. habil. Alexandru Popa the opportunity to actively disseminate the project’s results within an international scientific environment.
